Position Overview:
We are currently looking for a part-time door knocking salesperson to assist us in expanding our customer base. This role requires an individual who is outgoing, confident, and comfortable engaging with potential customers face-to-face. As a door knocking salesperson, you will play a crucial role in generating leads and promoting our duct cleaning services directly to homeowners and businesses in designated neighbourhoods.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct door-to-door sales visits to residential areas and commercial establishments to promote our duct cleaning services.
- Engage with homeowners and businesses in a friendly and professional manner, explaining the benefits of our services and addressing any inquiries or concerns.
- Actively listen to customers' needs and tailor the sales pitch accordingly to maximize the potential for conversion.
- Provide accurate and detailed information about our services, pricing, and promotional offers.
- Maintain a high level of product knowledge and stay updated on industry trends to effectively address customer queries.
- Schedule appointments for interested customers and ensure all necessary details are accurately recorded.
- Collaborate with the sales team to generate leads, track progress, and achieve individual and team sales targets.
- Follow up with potential customers to nurture relationships and convert leads into sales.
- Maintain accurate records of all sales activities, customer interactions, and lead generation efforts.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in door-to-door sales or a similar role is preferred but not essential.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport quickly.
- A positive attitude, resilience, and the ability to handle rejection professionally.
- Self-motivated and target-driven, with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales goals.
- Strong negotiation and persuasion skills to effectively close sales.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Reliable transportation to reach designated areas for door knocking.
- Familiarity with duct cleaning or HVAC systems is a plus, but not required.
